Christmas

We hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas as much as we did. The kids got a bundle of presents. Grandma and Grandpa Munford came and stayed the night so they could watch the kids open presents and we all had a good time.....

I really never minded my kids playing with toy guns and sometimes wondered why some parents make such a big deal about it.......  When the kids start pretend shooting their parent yeah its a little disturbing..

I take Lincoln with me everday to pick Lex up from school and it is so cute when he finally see Lex ...........

Lex has a girl in his school that really likes him. I took him to a school  thing at a bouncy place and she did not them him alone the entire time...Poor Lex didn't want to be rude

Fun Family

I went to mom and dads house last weekend to hang out ...We were playing a game with Marcus we were throwing a pretend slinky to eachother and the whole time Casey was sitting there playing with the real one and it took Marcus a minute to catch on .. 

Lincoln gets a kick out of being copied.... I think he really just enjoys having everyones attention.

Happy Halloween

Yesterday we had a get together with Brad's brothers. We decorated cookies and carved pumpkins.......... In the video I posted Lex is hard at work and you can tell by his tongue he is really focused.

The Kids had a Halloween parade at their school so we dressed Lincoln up and took him up there to go see the kids in their costumes.

Just the Norm!

Wow! This year has flown by! I can't believe it. I will be turning 29 next month and the grey hairs are already coming and my kids are already correcting me and making fun of the stupid little mistake...Ha ha Now I know how mom feels. Thats alright it's not like they are perfect either I still get to make fun of them and I get to blog about it. Here is a funny one.....

Zane went to visit his grandma in Indian Spring  when we picked him up and brought him home he was complaining about his major headache. Brad took him in the kitchen and opened the medicine cabinet  and Zane standing right next to him asked can't I just have a Midol or something.....

Lex was getting ready for school one day and headed out the door as he leaned over to give me a kiss Brad teased him "Gee's Lex don't try to slip her the tongue." Lex replied "I have already done that." 
There is a story behind that one I am sure most of you have heard but to save Lex from embarrassment I won't blog about it.


Lincoln always has us laughing he is probably the biggest baby at of the five but he really is the biggest baby.

Birthday's

Lex had a birthday, He just turned seven!!! We celebrated his birthday at home with a few friends and family. We did a scavenger hunt with little clues and he had to use the clues to find his birthday presents, which I am afraid it might end up being a family tradition. It is harder than it sounds, but the kids sure love it and it makes the present opening last a little longer....

I got really lucky !!

Right after I ordered the Toy Story 3 cake at smiths  I decided to go to the bargain bins and look around. I found a bunch of Toy Story 3 items, pens, notepads, candy, sunglasses, playing cards all marked down. None of the items were over a dollar......I love finding a bargain..... I used them for party favors!!

We also celebrated Lincolns first Birthday back in August. He was such a ham and decided he was going to take his first steps ever in front of everyone. What a show off!!!!!

He enjoyed his new toys and his first birthday cake and we all enjoyed watching him.

Lies

I posted this video for a good laugh! My six year old decided  he was going to try to get out of going to school today by faking  a toe injury. How unfortunate for him I have a rule when you stay home sick, you are sick in bed for the entire day. No video games, No toys! When he kept bugging me to let him play video games I asked to examine his toe. In fear that I might figure out the truth Lex explained to me the pain was no longer in his toe and had moved to the  arch of his foot. I knowing then there was no pain, decided to play along and examine the arch of his foot and as I was doing this a wave of guilt came over him and he spilled the beans. The guilt really seemed to overwhelm him as he has never lied to me in the past and I am happy to say I caught it all on camera!

Back to School

Back to School!
Well what can i say..... Lex is starting first grade and is super nervous. He made me promise that if he didn't like first grade that i would home school him. Well he will find out soon enough that first grade isn't that much different from kindergarten. Hopefully! It is so sad to watch them grow up so fast it was just yesterday we were stay at home little buddies. Now when he comes home after being at his dads house all weekend i ask him if he missed me, and i get the same response every time "I told you mom I just get my mind off of you." What is that suppose to mean anyways?

Lincoln just turned one and is full of energy. He has mom, dad and brothers wrapped around his little fingers. He is a delight and just fits in perfectly. He loves watching youtube videos especially Charlie bit my finger. There are some days i will sit with him playing it over and over again just to make him happy. I dont know what it is.
